Our kids draw names so they have just one sibling to give a gift to. THAT is the one gift they open on Christmas Eve. (It has become their very favorite time.) The rest wait until morning.
I open them as soon as the person who gave them to me is out of sight. This accounts for the fact that I have no presents under my tree. No one will give them to me until Christmas Day.
The kids open 1 present on Christmas Eve (their jammies) and the rest have to wait until the morning.
