Growing up we always had an artificial one, but ever since getting married we have had a real one. I like the smells of the real one, but I would prefer the easiness of the fake ones!
I have an artificial tree here in Mesa and I help my mom put up the real tree at my parents house when I go out to CA for Christmas. Best of both worlds!!!! I agree with the cleaning up the needles comment above but it is worth it for that great smell in your house, right? :)
You all need to go check out the Bradshaw tree! Tons of homemade ornaments from way back when the kids we little and now the grand kids! It's a lovely tree!! What memories!

ReplyDeleteI love them BOTH!!! When we had little kids, we had real, and now that we are all growed up, we do the fake with a thousand homemade ornaments.
