Reading books on my bed all summer long and playing make believe with my brothers and sisters where they let me be the lead playright and stage director! :)

ReplyDeleteI know I'm a day late and a dollar short, but my fondest memories as a kid revolve around playing baseball with the neighborhood kids, and roller skating on good ol' metal skates that clamp to the sole of your shoes. Wearing the skate key around my neck felt so 'cool'!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is easy--what I miss most is my Mom! The best summer memory is of family picnics at Jones Beach (that's the Atlantic Ocean)on Saturdays, with fried chicken and pimento cheese sandwiches, getting a little sunburned and singing "A hundred bottles of pop on the wall" driving home!
